When it comes to politics, I’m essentially a centre-right Conservative, a fully paid-up (from time to time) member of the British Conservative Party (once of Margaret Thatcher fame), with a soft spot for UKIP + the English Democrats.

I first voted in a General Election in that fateful 1997 General Election that resulted in New Labour’s 13 year reign of terror, I voted Conservative back then.
